Overview
The pulse air flow mixer is powered by compressed air and is specifically designed for the mixing of dry powder materials. It is a domestically original product. It successfully solves the problem that traditional mechanical mixing cannot achieve large-capacity mixing. It is a low-carbon, environmentally friendly, energy-saving, highly efficient, and human-machine integrated product with high cost performance.
Principle
The air mixer utilizes the kinetic energy generated by the rapid expansion and pressure release of compressed air to lift, move, flip, and roll the dry materials in the silo. The compressed air enters the silo through several nozzles in a pulse-circulating manner. Through the preset pulse width and interval time, it performs cyclic mixing. This mixing behavior effectively lifts the central part of the materials upward and simultaneously moves the peripheral part downward, flipping and rolling the materials to achieve uniform mixing. During the mixing cycle, the consumed compressed air is usually separated from the material-air mixture through a silo top dust collector. The air passes through a filter and is discharged from the mixed silo. The materials are collected by the filter and stored in the silo, then recycled into the mixed materials. The discharge cone valve is used to eliminate dead corners in the mixing and significantly reduce the segregation of materials during discharge. Features:
Large-capacity mixing: It can mix an effective volume of 1-80 cubic units at one time, meeting the needs of large-scale blending;
High mixing efficiency: The mixing process only takes 10-45 minutes for each batch (depending on the affinity characteristics of the materials and air); 
No mechanical transmission: There are no mixing arms, mixing discs, etc. for transmission, avoiding heat generation from material friction, mechanical wear and lubricant contamination. The inner wall of the equipment is coated with anti-corrosion, and nitrogen can be used for safe mixing of flammable and explosive products. It is suitable for special materials with wear resistance, corrosion resistance, flammability, explosiveness, poor fluidity, and easily broken particle size;
Multi-function integration: This machine can be used for four purposes (mixing, negative pressure conveying vacuum feeder, positive pressure conveying receiving bin, storage bin), saving space and facilitating the combination of production lines;
Easy operation: There are no dead corners or residual materials inside the equipment. Multiple pulse blowing points are provided, making disassembly and cleaning convenient and fast. The body is equipped with three sampling devices (upper, middle, and lower), ensuring efficient and precise sampling;
High efficiency and energy saving: The energy consumption is only 50% of mechanical mixing;
High filling coefficient: Based on the material characteristics, the filling coefficient can reach 60-80%;
High automation level: The on-site PLC touch screen system controls, one-click operation, and can communicate and link with the production line DCS system.
